About

  • Co-manager of Cheshire Rural Touring Arts (CRTA).

CRTA presents high-quality professional theatre, music, dance, comedy, and family shows.

Communities across Cheshire are at the heart of what we do. Our volunteer community promoters select and host shows each season; providing a warm welcome to audiences in village halls, community centres, libraries and cultural & educational venues.

Supported by Arts Council England, Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East Council.

  • I am a Trustee of Impelo, a small but mighty arts CIO in mid-Wales with a reputation for a socially engaged, inventive, and ambitious approach, redefining community dance and arts in a rural context.

  • “The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds.”

Through a postgraduate in Counselling & experience as a Samaritans volunteer, I have developed a greater understanding of the UK’s mental health & life experiences, and I’ve seen how important empathy, communication and listening skills are.

This experience has influenced my work in the creative industries; offering a safe, person-centred, reflective practice. I am finding this approach appeals to many artists including those who are neurodiverse and have diverse needs.
